The steps in this article will show you a setting in the Google Chrome browser on your Windows computer that allows you to block the Adobe Flash Player from running on websites.
Note that this may result in a poor browsing experience when viewing websites that rely heavily on Flash for their user experience.
Step 1: Launch Google Chrome.
Step 2: Click the Chrome menu button at the top-right corner of the window.
Step 3: Click the Settings option.
Step 4: Scroll down and click the Content settings button under Privacy.
Step 5: Scroll down to the Flash section, then check the option to the left of Block sites from running Flash.
Step 6: Click the Done button at the bottom-right corner of the window to apply your changes.
